Between 8-10 November 2022, staff members of CAM participated in the first LTTA workshop of GreenVETnet project. The main focus of the three-day event were the green skills in tourism education. All nine partners from eight countries joined the project event in the Italian capital.
The participants were VET teachers, trainers, and experts who cooperated with each other on how sustainability can be integrated into education in the field of tourism and catering. The basis of the work was GreenComp which is the European sustainability competence framework. The document provides a common ground to learners and guidance to educators, advancing a consensual definition of what sustainability as a competence entails.
