Following a successful partner meeting in Budapest, Hungary in September 2025, the GREENATHON in VET project has officially moved into its closing phase. Co-funded by the European Union, our project is now releasing a comprehensive educational tool box designed to empower Vocational Education and Training (VET) students to address environmental challenges through innovation.
Empowering Educators and Students
The project has developed and piloted key resources over the course of the past two years. These tools are designed to support VET institutions in organizing “Greenathons”—project-based challenges where students collaborate to develop sustainable solutions.
Piloting Status & Feedback – Partners reviewed the outcomes of the pilot activities conducted in VET schools across Europe. The discussion included participant feedback, challenges faced during implementation, and final updates to the reports and training modules.
The newly released resources include:
- The Guidebook for VET Teachers: A practical resource featuring step-by-step instructions, tips, and real-world examples from pilot tests to help educators integrate the GREENATHON methodology into their lesson plan.
- E-Learning Platform & Training Modules: Now available in six languages, these our teaching modules have been refined based on feedback from pilot activities to ensure they are clear, practical, and classroom-ready.
Validated by European Schools
The project’s outputs were finalized following extensive pilot activities conducted in VET schools across Europe. During the final meeting in Budapest, organized by CAM Consulting Kft., partners reviewed participant feedback and testing results to ensure the final deliverables met the highest standards for educational use.
Access the Resources
Educators, schools, and stakeholders across Europe are invited to access the E-learning platform and download the Guidebook for VET Teachers and the dedicated training modules to begin organizing their own Greenathons.
