The GREENATHON in VET Workshop, held from May 21 to 23, 2024, opened the door for teachers to deliver cutting-edge training on green topics with a focus on empowering VET students to compete in green ideathons! Hosted in Malta’s capital city Valletta by Projects in Motion Ltd., this collaborative initiative brought together partners from across Europe and diverse backgrounds to refine and enhance training materials focused on green entrepreneurship. Throughout the workshop, the partners, based on a thoroughly developed methodology, delved into the structure and contents of modules developed in previous months aiming to create a cohesive and impactful learning experience for VET students.
During the workshop all partners brought invaluable insights to the table, sharing their modules, contents, assessment methods, and activities.
About GREENATHON IN VET: The Greenathon in VET Erasmus+ project, funded by the European Union, aims to equip VET students with green entrepreneurial skills through comprehensive training materials and a green ideathon competition. The project develops training materials for VET students and creates a methodology to guide VET teachers in effectively implementing these trainings, preparing students to excel in a green ideathon, and organising these competitions within their institutions.
