The GREENATHON in VET project, co-funded by the European Union, reached a key milestone with its final transnational partner meeting, held on 04–05 September 2025 in Budapest, Hungary. The two-day event, organised by CAM Consulting Kft., brought together project partners to review progress, finalise outputs, and prepare for the conclusion of the project.

Finalising the Project Deliverables

The meeting focused on assessing the outcomes of the pilot phase and ensuring the project’s main results are ready for release.

Piloting Status & Feedback – Partners reviewed the outcomes of the pilot activities conducted in VET schools across Europe. The discussion included participant feedback, challenges faced during implementation, and final updates to the reports and training modules.

Finalising Training Materials and E-learning Platform – Feedback collected during the pilot tests was used to make final adjustments to the GREENATHON course modules and tests, ensuring they are clear, practical, and ready for use in classrooms. The contents of the e-learning platform, translations in six languages, and testing results were also reviewed.

Guidebook for VET Teachers – A dedicated session was held to brainstorm and finalise the structure and content of the upcoming Guidebook for VET Teachers. This practical resource will support educators in organising their own GREENATHONS—project-based challenges where students work together to develop sustainable solutions. The guidebook will include step-by-step instructions, tips, and examples from the pilots, making it easier for teachers to integrate the GREENATHON methodology into their curricula.

Next Steps

With the end of the final meeting, the GREENATHON project moves into its closing phase. The e-learning platform, training modules, and Guidebook for VET Teachers will soon be available to schools and educators across Europe. These tools are designed to help VET institutions organise Greenathons and encourage students to develop skills linked to sustainability, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
