Municipality of Tata is awarded for its project called ’Angolkert Malomkert – Angolkerti rehabilitáció III. üteme’ (Mill Park in the English Garden – 3rd Phase of the English Garden Rehabilitation in Tata) in which the old Jenő-mill, classified as a national monument, will be renewed and the rich mill culture of the town will be presented here. The building’s new function will broaden the touristic attractions in the town and in the English Garden itself.

The amount of grants awarded in the framework of TOP-3.2.1-15 Call for proposals in the Territorial and Settlement Development Operational Programme of Hungary is 340,000,000 HUF which will be used for the renewal of the long-term closed mill, the neglected area of Kristály-fürdő (bath) and the neighbouring artificial ruins built in the 19th century. Test grinding with the help of the restored original mill structure will be available. Programme elements offered by the new attraction will be independent from the weather conditions and will be supplemented by interactive features.

CAM Consulting Kft. prepared the business plan and the cost-benefit analysis of the project which will start on 1st April 2018.
