Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE has launched its fourth call. The objective of the call is to build on complementing results and outputs from at least 2 projects co-financed by Interreg CE and at least 1 project co-financed by directly-managed EU programmes such as Horizon 2020, LIFE, Connecting Europe Facility, etc.
The fourth call is restricted to the following seven topics: 1) industry 4.0/advanced manufacturing; 2) social entrepreneurship; 3) energy efficient renovation of public buildings in cities; 4) low carbon mobility and urban air quality; 5) climate change adaptation and risk prevention; 6) cultural heritage (sites & buildings) at risk and 7) accessibility for peripheral and border regions to TEN-T CNC networks/nodes. As a pre-condition of submission, the project proposal must be consulted with the JS in the framework of a “compulsory consultation”.
At least 50% of the partnership must consist of institutions and bodies that have been involved in the pre-selected Interreg CE projects (even if they belong to different topics). Further requirement is that at least one partner must be included from a project funded by a directly-managed EU programme.
The call is open to all organisations that classify as: national, regional and local public bodies; private institutions, including private companies, having legal personality, and International organisations acting under the national law of any Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Member State or (with restrictions) under international law. The same institution cannot be involved in more than one proposal within a same topic.
The programme will allocate around 10m EUR ERDF to the fourth call for proposals. The following co-financing rates apply: for applicants from Hungary, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia is up to 85 %; for applicants from Austria, Germany, Italy and applicants located in EU regions outside the Interreg CE Programme area is up to 80 %.
In the framework of the fourth call for proposals, the maximum project duration is 24 months, taking into account that the latest possible end date for a project is 30 June 2022. The proposals must be submitted at the latest by Friday, 5 July 2019 at 13:00 CET. The fourth call for proposals is organised according to a one-step procedure.
