The GREENTATHON Joint Staff Training (JST), held from October 1st to 3rd, 2024, in Izmir, Turkey, provided an important opportunity for teachers to explore innovative training tools aimed at enhancing vocational education and training (VET) on sustainability and green entrepreneurship topics. Hosted by project partner EDUJI, the event brought together educators and project partners to test and refine the five final course modules developed in the previous months of the project.
A key highlight of the workshop was the presentation of the online platform developed by EDUJI, which was tested in classroom-like conditions to ensure its effectiveness in real teaching environments. The platform offers a comprehensive range of resources and interactive features including virtual assessments and certification to support VET students’ learning journeys.
Throughout the workshop, participants actively engaged in hands-on activities, testing course contents and exchanging valuable feedback on the modules’ structure, delivery methods, and assessment techniques. This collaborative effort represents a major step toward empowering VET institutions with cutting-edge tools to equip students with green skills for the future.

About GREENATHON IN VET: The Greenathon in VET Erasmus+ project, funded by the European Union, aims to equip VET students with green entrepreneurial skills through comprehensive training materials and a green ideathon competition. The project develops training materials for VET students and creates a methodology to guide VET teachers in effectively implementing these trainings, preparing students to excel in a green ideathon, and organising these competitions within their institutions.
