Households are one of the major energy consumers in Hungary. Enhancing their knowledge is essential to reach public awareness on energy, and thereby, to reach energy-efficiency and energy savings.
One of the tools for achieving these objectives is creating a handbook on RES for households which has been prepared by CAM Consulting Kft. in the framework of the “Cooperation-based innovative service development to enhance energy consumption consciousness and to spread the use of renewable energy sources” project co-financed by the Norway Grants. The handbook ordered by the Municipality of Mezőfalva includes useful information and advices for households on the advantages and the opportunities of RES with comprehensible illustrations and good practices. The handbook also provides information on the expected investment and operating costs, and savings during a project. The handbook can be downloaded from the website of Mezőfalva and from our website.
Connected to the handbook, educational materials will be published in the monthly local newspaper called “Az én falum – Mezőfalva” (My village – Mezőfalva). CAM Consulting Kft. prepared the articles in order to raise the awareness of the local residents. The first instalment has already been published in the May/2017 edition of the newspaper.
