The event of Energy Club (“Energetikai Klub”), organized by the Hungarian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in early June, addressed electric mobility. Mr Pál Boza, CEO of CAM Consulting Kft. held a presentation on “Electric mobility as a service – possible market scenarios based on international market trends”.
In his presentation, he highlighted the positive trends of technological development, and demonstrated the global, European and national tendencies, while also explaining the market barriers. Presenting the Dutch and Danish market situations, he pointed out that the electric car market is largely dependent on subsidies. Moreover, the pace of growth of the electric car fleet and the charging infrastructure might fall rapidly in case of unfavourable changes in governmental or local governmental regulations, or the elimination of incentives.
Mr Boza described the current market as an “electric mobility ecosystem” where the new market actors and new kind of partnerships shape the market dramatically.
