More than 200 professionals from Spain, Malta, Hungary and the Netherlands have participated in 4 events that provided the latest results of the LearnEER project “Mutual Learning for Energy Efficiency Building Retrofitting”.

The project, financed by the Erasmus+ programme, aims to develop an innovative mutual learning platform to increase the skills and capabilities of professionals of the Energy Efficiency Building Retrofitting sector (EER). Each event was addressed to a specific regional audience as they were organized by different country partners: Intromac (Spain), PIM (Malta), CAM (Hungary) and Venray (The Netherlands), and focused in the project results but also included in their agendas other EER related presentations.

The Hungarian multiplier event was held in the office of CAM. Participants were from the main target groups who all work/study/have expertise in the field of EER. In the event, which was held as a business breakfast, besides project progress, the platform itself and its functions were also presented. Participants were invited to try out the platform. Attendees were all interested in the aim of the platform, how it will work in real life, and what are the main functions. The simplicity and the modern design of the platform was a recurring compliment. Minor errors of the platform were detected by the participants who also made recommendations on what other functions they would see. Overall feedback from the attendees was that they would use the platform if there were enough active participants with useful learning materials.

During the event, participants were invited to use the learning platform online, by sharing content and videos, commenting and rating. Afterwards, participants provided valuable feedback of the platform usage experience to the host. As the objective of the LearnEER project on its final stage is to improve the final version of the platform, the project partners will use this feedback in order and develop the most suitable learning tool for the EER professionals’ needs. The final version of the platform will be released in September 2018.
